Listing Instructions:

  1. Be sure you are now using a copy of the new listing template
  2. On the right column, scroll down and find the option to select the PARENT PAGE. Page taxonomy is important for SEO. I put most homes under Pedasi real estate. And there can be a sub parent option of lots for sale. For luxury homes, you can choose panama luxury homes parent and if it’s beachfront, you can choose that page. Don’t use the costa pedasi sub page. Just title the property headline using Costa Pedasi in the headline. Same with other developments. I just recommend that you use the development name in the headline if possible which is good for SEO.
  3. VERY IMPORTANT: go down to the Yoast SEO section and click the “Advanced” tab. Then under “Allow search engines to show this page in search results” Click “Yes” AND “Should search engines follow links on this page”, click “Yes”. While you are there, go ahead and write the page meta description and keyphrase for google results.
  4. Edit headings and tab data and description. Keep description about same length as the lorem ipsum. VERY IMPORTANT: You have to save the tab revisions AND update the page itself between each tab. Otherwise, it will wipe out your revision when you move to the next tab.
  5. Under maps tab section, edit the latitude, longitude, and Address 1 (property name).
  6. To add a video, the section is defaulting to not show. First, click the pencil to edit the row. Then de-select the box to hide the section. Save the page. (important to save between). Then, go to the text box for the video and on the top right switch from “visual” to “text”. Go to your Vimeo account and grab the video ID and replace only that number. Save section and update page.
  7. On the website navigation, open Envira Gallery in a new tab. Duplicate a recent property gallery. Delete all photos and rename. Upload photos with a MAX size of about 900 and keep only a quantity that is multiple of four so they line up nicely. IMPORTANT: for each photo add the Alt tag and use tag names such as pedasi real estate, costa pedasi, home for sale in Pedasi, etc. Save the envira gallery. Grab the new ID number for the gallery. Then go back to the photo section of this page and change the envira gallery ID number. Save section and update page.
  8. In Lucidpress, create a new banner image. Save it using 150 PX setting. Upload to banner section. Be sure to set the ALT tag. Update page.
  9. In Lucidpress, create a new featured image for the property using the facebook layout. (see current example). Save as 72 px. Max 150. Upload as featured image on the right column. Update page.
  10. In the Yoast SEO section, select the social tab on top. Upload the new featured image if it is not showing. Write a new heading and SHORT description. Be sure to put your contact info. This description and image appears by default when people share the page on facebook. Update Page.
  11. In another tab, open the appropriate archive page (example: Pedasi real estate) and copy the section above or below the price of the home. They are displayed by order of price. Upload the five BEST photos with a reduced size of MAX 150 PX. Be sure to ALT TAG those photos. Make sure there is a space between your sections. Save the archive page and repeat on any other archive pages that apply to that property (i.e. Costa Pedasi, luxury, land, etc.)
  12. Once the property is live and the client has approved it, go ahead and make your facebook, instagram posts. Feel free to use the templates. You can also create galleries in facebook for the property. We have galleries in facebook for our listings. Add the featured image to the facebook listing gallery with a link back to the new listing. Re-arrange the gallery to show the new listing on top, and use that to make a post about all your beautiful listings.
  13. Log into mailchimp and duplicate an old campaign and send it to subscribers. I use Lucidpress to create the image or use the same banner that is on the web page. Highly suggest that you only have one link on the email so they don’t get distracted. SO all photos will link to the property web page.
  14. Delete this row and instruction comments. Update Page.
